Dr. Niki Toufexis is a graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. She has been in private practice since 1996 and specializes in contact lenses and the treatment and management of ocular disease. Dr Toufexis is also experienced in fitting specialty contact lenses, Rigid Gas Permeable (RGP) Lenses for patients with high astigmatism, irregular corneas, and Keratoconus. She is certified by New York State to use therapeutic eye medications, those that treat eye infections and glaucoma. She is a clinical preceptor for the National Board of Examiners in Optometry, and a member of the American Optometric Association as well as the New York State Optometric Association. She also volunteers her time to the St. Basil’s Academy, which provides eye care to underprivileged kids.
Dr. David Galeoto is a graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry and is currently on staff at the James J. Peters Veteran Affairs Medical Center. He specializes in the treatment and management of ocular disease as well as low vision. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and a clinical preceptor for the National Board of Examiners in Optometry. He is certified by New York State to use therapeutic eye medications and is currently a member of the Armed Forces Optometric Society and the American Optometric Association.
After over 43 years, Dr Harvey Dubin will be pursuing a more relaxed schedule, filling in if needed for Dr Toufexis, but no longer keeping regular hours here in the office.
